My wife and I
visited Spruce Pine in April. We stayed at the Pinebridge Inn and
dined at the Nu Wray Inn. I love trains and enjoyed listening to
your “Timeless Classics” while driving around Mitchell County and
taking photos of the CSX coal trains that roll on the old
“Clinchfield Railroad.” Often when we visit other areas of North
Carolina and the Southeast we have to take a bunch of CD’s with us
in order to listen to good music. Needless to say, we didn’t have to
use the CD player while in your area.
Many thanks!

I was so excited to get a "taste of home" when a friend sent me your
website. I lived in Spruce Pine until several years ago when my
family moved away due to a transfer with my husband's company. We
still love the mountains and come visit each chance we get.
Thanks for the great website.

We use to live in GreenMountain and moved to AZ 5 years ago. It is great to have this site and catch up on all the things we miss from our old home town. For anyone that reads this and remembers us thank you. I would like to tell you that Ronald Gartin went home to the Lord Nov. 18th 2004. Take care and keep the school spirit up. We miss that here, it's just not the same. judirth@yahoo

Thanks for allowing Mitchell County and Yancey County Home Health to be featured on Community Close Up! Even though nervous, we were very excited about having the opportunity to share with the community about home health care.
Thanks for keeping our community informed and for your "BAD" joke of the day!

Hey everyone. Yes I am the founder of Junior Joker. I just wanted to ask everyone if you had a joke no matter how old you are. You can give him a call at 765 7441 ext # 247. It would make me feel alot better if more and more people called so I would be the only one. Who knows- something good may happen if you do!

Although I can not hear your signal, your station was one of the first I remember hearing. My uncle was a Baptist Minister, and as a 5 year old child, he used to take me to your studio where he had a religious program every Sunday. I was so fascinated by everything, and I will always remember those live broadcasts in your studio. I was just surfing the internet today and saw your site. I wish you could stream, so I could hear your signal again. I enjoyed your site and plan to tune into your station when I am back in Spruce Pine. grlover@ctc.net
