Janice Rosenberg, a senior
member of the Foundation Center in Washington, DC will conduct a
free workshop at the Spruce Pine Library from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on
Monday, August 25.
The workshop, How to Approach a
Foundation: From Initial Contact to Getting Funded is a part of the
AMY Regional Library Foundation Center's efforts to help local
nonprofits, individual artists, students, and educators get the
funding they need. "We are extremely fortunate to have someone of
Ms. Rosenberg's experience share her knowledge with us," said Daniel
Barron, Director of the AMY Regional Library.
Reservations are not required,
but are suggested in order to plan for handouts and refreshments.
