to secure Genesis Furniture Industries. Genesis has purchased
the former Henredon plant and hopes to be in operation by the

Congressman Patrick McHenry
visited Mayland Community College last week. He discussed
Mayland’s action on training displaced workers and listened to

Mission Possible Team
This team took a first place gold medal at
regional competition at UNC-A in February, and a 3rd place bronze
medal at State Competition in Raleigh on April 16th.
