TIPTON HILL


Tipton Hill School Harvest Festival was held Saturday, November 5th. Here are a few of the entries in the Pie/Pickle/Preserve contest.


More of the contest entries.  First Place in the Pie Contest went to a pecan/cranberry pie made by Wendy Holloway, Second Place went to PJ Bennett. In the Cake Contest First Place was an apple spice cake made by Zella Sparks, Second Place went to Judy Dellinger. In the Pickle/Preserve Contest First Place went to hot dill pickles made by Carol Bennett and Second Place went to strawberry preserves made by Nora Metcalf.


Some of the booths set up for crafts and jewelry making.

Silly string "fights" were part of the fun.


Paintball was a new event this year at the festival. Blackhawk Paintball of Spruce Pine ran the booth.
